Getting started.

I've lived in Savannah, GA for most of my life.  We moved here from Louisiana when I was eight.  I moved away at 18 and came back 6 years later.  I am now in my mid 30's, married to a great guy.  We have four kids.  I am a busy stay at home mom who is a prior service US Army Reserve Veteran.  I am on the go all the time. Because I'm constantly running all over town, I tend to see some very interesting things in this very interesting town.  I was once nearly run over in the parking lot of Target by a transvestite on a pink scooter.  After the near miss, she leaped off her scooter, jumping and screaming as if a mouse had run across her foot, apologized and rode away.
On today's adventure, my youngest son and I were returning from purchasing two twin size mattresses for the new bunk bed set he shares with his sister.  While stopped at a red light, I noticed smoke coming down the road and saw it was coming from a silver, late model Honda.  As it got closer, I noticed the car was on FIRE.  The guy kept on driving and pulled into the parking lot of a GAS STATION.  I sat there stupified that this idiot thought it was a great idea. He drove past two other parking lots, including an ice house where they make ice.  I'm pretty sure they'd be able to help him out there.  No, this idiot pulls into a gas station where he puts everyone around him in danger of BLOWING THE FRIG UP!  Genius.
Anyway, I will be posting as often as possible about the sites, sounds and people that make this town so unique.  I really do love Savannah.  There is no town like it.  There is always something going on.

Stay tuned.
